It all started when…
Chad Perry. I’m a 25 year old photographer from The Bronx, New York. My dad introduced me to photography while I was very young. I started taking photos to capture the moments that my friends and I were sharing. While being a bike messenger in a big city, I was able to see a lot more than what a normal pedestrian would see also.
I now have a small collection of photos that were taken while riding my bike.
I started with my iPhone and GoPro. Eventually I bought my first camera. (Pentax K1000) I taught myself the ropes shooting 35mm. Next I bought a 35mm point-and-shoot. (Contax T2). I used the Contax as much as I could because I was able to carry it with me everywhere. All 35mm photos are my early years. (Before DSLR) I still have plenty of 35mm rolls to develop.
I bought my first digital camera (Canon 7D) because the use for film was becoming expensive. It was easy to switch from shooting film to shooting digital. I stuck with the 7D till I was ready for an upgrade. Now I use a Canon 5D Mark II and I see how my photos have changed over time.
